Aita El Foukhar. We are very proud of our

visitor, tourist, resident, or business person. Aita El Foukhar is
considered by many as one of the most beautiful towns on the mountains,
boasting an exceptional "quality of life" for both
 citizens
and visitors. We are committed to the preservation and protection of our
natural resources, our clean and healthy environment, and the safety of
our residents
Located in the main gate of Rachaya region, with a population exceeding
4,000, and a geographical area exceeding 29 square km, our natural
resources, infrastructures, and location have contributed to our
recognition one of the most natural villages in Lebanon. Our self
sufficient status enables us to provide programs, services and
facilities such as;
• Residential garbage collection system
• Snow removal system.
• Public Garden, sport, cultural and entertainment events
Some of the major events enjoyed by hundreds of citizens and visitors
each year especially in the religious occasions: Eastern holiday -
Hajmeh, Adhaa, Saint George Festival, etc….
