Our hometown, Aita El Foukhar, is the place where we were born, grew up, went to school, played in its narrow streets and lived in its humble houses. It’s the town where our fathers worked at the potteries and in the grapes orchards.

However, many of us left for bigger cities of Lebanon. Some of us still settled in Aita, and others immigrated to North and South America and Australia in search of their dreams, thus the idea of get all of us to form an Aita’s online society.

The idea became reality the summer of 2004 when a meeting was held at the Municipality in Aita, It was determined that the purpose of the new-found online society would be to maintain the existing bond between all the citizens of Aita El- Foukhar and to promote goodwill between us and the rest of the Lebanese communities all over the world.

Its purpose is also to preserve our heritage and culture as well as to help our sisters and brothers who remain in Aita EL Foukhar in maintain our hometown one of the best places on earth.

We would like to take this opportunity to encourage all Aita El Foukhar people around the world to participate and share their goodwill and loyalty to our hometown. Your thoughts would mean a great deal to us, therefore, make your step forward and share your love to Aita with all of us.
